My New Year’s Resolutions as a Freelance Writer
When one chapter ends, turn the page and start the next.
When you’re older and looking back on this chapter, what do you want to read?

As a freelance writer, I choose the latter. This year, I’m empowering myself, both in my personal life and career.
Here are five New Year’s resolutions I’ve made as a freelance writer.
1. Get that $$$ (Raise My Rates)
Emailing your clients that you’re raising your rates, I know what you’re thinking.
What if they fire me?
What if they get mad and ghost me?
Can I find work at this increased rate?
Your brain assembles all these different scenarios that conclude with you dead broke, unable to pay the bills, and maybe out on the street.
But think about this.
