Have you ever felt this?

You’re hardworking and ambitious. You’ve garnered many achievements but for whatever reason, you don’t feel happy.

Happiness and fulfillment elude you no matter how much you accomplish.

Or maybe you experience brief bursts of joy but it’s fleeting — like sand cascading between your fingers.

It’s frustrating.

Because it feels like you’re on a happiness treadmill — desperately seeking it but you’re running in the same spot.

And you’d do anything to step off.

The college course that transformed my perspective on happiness

While completing my undergrad, I enrolled in a positive psychology course to fulfill one of my requirements.

I remember the first day when my professor explained that many college courses explain what is wrong with the brain.

Positive psychology (which was a growing specialty) studies all factors that empower the brain — what encourages us to thrive.
